About the artwork
All recreations are carried out in brush & pen using Indian ink on high quality, hot-pressed Bristol Board, as used by the majority of professional comic-book artists.
Pieces are drawn twice up, that is double the size of the finished comic-book cover, but I can of course do a drawing to any size requested, should you have an odd-sized frame for example.
I pride myself on high accuracy when it comes to the reproduction of the original artwork. The only thing I won't reproduce is the original artist's signature. Logos, speech-balloons etc. are copied from source material and pasted on as I find this gives results closer to the look of the original than hand drawn texts.
Artwork is mailed in heavy-duty protective cardboard tubing, flat-mailing/insurance can be arranged, please write for a quote. I mail worldwide.
